(and those would be her words) but she still sat for me for a few minutes with a bribe of oreo cookies and milk after dinner :).
I haven’t taken photos in a few days. I’ve had a couple of blue days, paying too much attention to the talent of others and not thanking the Lord for the gifts He’s given me. That is not ME and I don’t ever want to get sucked into feeling that way! So here’s a photo that I am proud of…it’s simple, but it speaks to me and that’s all that matters!

There is so much going on in the world right now. So much uncertainty in so many people’s lives. I am just truly thankful for a husband who loves me, children who are amazing and a God who takes care of His children.

Theses are my lovies….I am thankful for them every day, but even more so during the past few days. I wish I had a photo of my husband to put here too. He truly is my rock. I think this inspires me to take him on his own photo shoot!

All ready for scuba season!

I just can’t tell you how much I love this photo!! The story is, Zach wanted a flower in his hair, just like Abby. He asked me to do it in his own little way and as I put it in his hair…he flashed me this look. This is just so his personality!! I love my little man.

That is what I should rename my kids…Miss Sassy for sure!!!

We had a wonderful evening with my in laws – complete with Easter egg hunt! Abby had a blast, but Zach pretty much didn’t know what to do with those colorful plastic eggs….yum, they taste so good! :) Thanks mom & dad for a fun night!

this past week! On the weekend I went to a photo shoot about 2 hours away (OSP West!). Some new brides dressed up in their gowns and posed for about 15 photographers. After that, a new couple who just got married put their duds back on and had a blast for us while we snapped away! I have never been a part of something like that before, and I had sooo much fun. (Then the next day I went to Disneyland…more on that later!!)

I am so excited for my first wedding in August. After doing this shoot, I have much more confidence in my ability and am so happy to be a part of such a special day. I would *love* to be able to photograph more weddings, even though its a tough job! What a beautiful day to be a part of!

…is what she said to me when she saw this photo. I responded, “Well if you want a nice face you have to smile for me!” Almost no smiles and no eye contact…ever. So I’ll take any photo of my baby girl that I can get!! Nice face or not! :)
