About Amy

Hi! I'm Amy! Right off the bat...the most important things in life to me are my family (my handsome husband and three beautiful children), my Jesus and capturing our life in pictures.

I feel that photos are to be shared, they exist to evoke feelings and help friends and family bond even worlds apart. I love meeting new families, taking their pictures and being able to be apart of their memories for just a moment.

I strive to bring every part of me to a session, I'm loud but introverted, I'm fun but serious. I will hug you when I meet you and treat you like part of my family. A session with me is just simply about one thing and one thing only...YOU.

Please feel free to contact me using the Contact link above to inquire about a child or family photo session in the Sacramento, California area. I'm looking forward to it.

Week 51/52

Wow…one more week to go. Which is actually this week. This photo is posted late, of course. Week 52 will be posted on Sunday.

This photo means a lot to me. If you know Abby, you would understand that sometimes she just needs to talk. For no one to tell her to be quiet, her voice can get pretty loud so she hears a lot of “stop yelling, I’m standing right in front of you.” I can tell those days that she needs to unload, and so either Jeremy or I will just lay next to her and let her talk talk talk. We won’t stop her, we just let her go and it really feeds her soul. She becomes content and can sleep better. So here’s a picture of it, I hope you can see her little hand waving in expression, her feet even talk too. She can barely sit still. She isn’t hyperactive, she’s just Abby and I never want her to change.

I love this. I hope I can capture moments like this with Kyrie as she grows. :)

You are such wonderful parents and this is a GREAT idea. All children need the freedom to unload like this but not everyone recognizes it. Beautiful capture!

I LOVE this picture! And I LOVE how you are so good at capturing all the important details of your everyday lives. Your images and your writings I am sure will be something each of your children will simply treasure as the years go by. You are creating such a wonderful gift for them and I give you so much credit for the time and talent this project has required. You are an inspiration!
