Today it starts…one photo a day of any of my kids for 28 days straight. Seeing how I blog so rarely, this is a huge challenge for me! I have some wonderful friends taking on the challenge as well, we will all have so much fun together. If you are a lurker here, I encourage you to comment and visit my friends’ blogs as we start on this 28 day journey, if you want to jump in at any time, feel free. I just told a friend that there is no “cheating” with this project. Just take a photo, blog it…do it for 28 days straight. See how your life and your photography skills develop over the month of February. Who knows what kind of images we will come up with, but I’m sure they will be priceless.
Many photographers that I admire have done this project, but this one in particular just takes my breath away. I’m following her example with black & whites and documenting the time I take my photos. I hope that I can capture just a smidge of life that she does with her own children!

Day 1: Many challenges are starting today…the challenge of me getting in shape, the challenge of Princess Lily being weaned from her pacifier, the challenge of teaching this boy a little more about respect and a little less about doing things his own way. Actually, it is more a challenge for me, about being more consistent and reaching his heart and not just his head.

We are weaning Carsyn’s Paci on the 5th!! I’ve been telling her all week (as if she knows) that when she turns 16 months that paci is out! ;) Here’s to no paci by the end of the month!

LOVE his little face. We are in the same place right now with our two oldest. Have you read “Sheperding a Child’s Heart” by Tedd Tripp? I pick it up everytime I seem to lose focus on issues of the heart and when I seem to let myself get wrapped up in all the other externals in realtion to raising my children.
