Week #4 of our family being sick…this week it is my turn. Thankfully I think it is just a 48 hour thing and I’ll be ok soon. HUGE thank you to my husband who always takes care of things when I’m down. I have to admit….I haven’t taken any new photos in a while. It hurts my heart, but I just haven’t been up to it, either the kids are down or husband is or I am. There are just so many things to take care of besides my 4th child, my Nikon Camera, (or 5th now that we have Gilbert).

Here are some lovely things that have cheered me up in all the chaos that is my home right now…follow me on Pinterest so I can follow you and cheer me up too why don’t cha? :)

Isn’t this a cool idea for the kids? We have art supplies in every corner of the house!

My sister pinned this for me and I went out and made it right away. So far it has taken care of my never ending paper pile situation.

I’m kinda obsessed with chalkboards right now, I think this is just so lovely!

No I won’t paint Grandma’s piano turquoise…but I think it would be cool to :)

Little update on the house paint colors…we’ve decided on something like this (no this isn’t my house! Check her page for before & afters). I already painted our door yellow!

And now I want to leave you with this while I go take some nyquil and curl up on the couch with a blankie…Night Night.

Behind the scenes of the photo shoots at the Pinkletoes workshop…aren’t we smooth? Well…my new bff’s sure are :) This is what really happens during shoots, we act silly, lay on the ground, take out of focus pictures and get distracted by the pretty little flowers…oh wait, that was me.

Stick with me over the next few days (weeks?) as I share photos of my time in Austin. I’m not ready to let go of it yet.
