Just wanted to say a heartfelt thanks for all the Facebook comments and emails I have received about what I shared a couple days ago. I am so blessed to have experience an insane amount of kindness and I truly hope that we all continue to love and respect each other in the days ahead. I’m excited to move forward and make this blog into something I have always wanted, a little bit more of me. Thanks ya’ll for the push :)

Week #4 of our family being sick…this week it is my turn. Thankfully I think it is just a 48 hour thing and I’ll be ok soon. HUGE thank you to my husband who always takes care of things when I’m down. I have to admit….I haven’t taken any new photos in a while. It hurts my heart, but I just haven’t been up to it, either the kids are down or husband is or I am. There are just so many things to take care of besides my 4th child, my Nikon Camera, (or 5th now that we have Gilbert).

…every shot we take is perfection and perfectly in focus…unless I happen to be taking a photo of myself from one inch away (see last photo for proof of my photographic genius). Behind the scenes of the photo shoots at the Pinkletoes workshop…aren’t we smooth? Well…my new bff’s sure are :) This is what really happens during shoots, we act silly, lay on the ground, take out of focus pictures and get distracted by the pretty little flowers…oh wait, that was me.

Stick with me over the next few days (weeks?) as I share photos of my time in Austin. I’m not ready to let go of it yet.
